What’s as important as great skiing & snowboarding in Whistler… GREAT EATS!!

It’s rather simple to understand, with the very high operating costs & über competition in Whistler, you have to be very good to be a successful Restauranteur. Having said that, I still believe some Whistler restaurants outshine others, and I’m willing to share my 22 Years of Whistler locals experience with you.

Most of the Restaurants I’ve listed are Chef / Owners with only a few obvious exceptions. If in your travels you find one that I should know of, I’d love to hear from you. I will do my best to highlight one of my favorites every week…

The Sidecut Is a Modern Steakhouse that TRULY lives up to that statement!

Being Steakhouse aficionado’s , we have been to almost all the premium steak houses in North America….. There are many excellent ones ….& then there’s The Sidecut in Whistler Resort!

The Room, Ambiance, Service are Outstanding, but that’s not only what you’re there for – their steaks etc are truly in “a league of their own”.

Not much more can be said, as this review would turn into just more of a collection of superlative words.

As most, steak is not the only “Modern Interpretation” on the menu. Local fish (we are very close the Ocean), insanely creative appetizers (steak sushi roll a must), and spectacular desserts will require you to hit the slopes early & stay out late…… but what the …. , you’re in Whistler!

Prices are in the upper bracket, but worth the experience.
