Vacation Rental Description:

Our 5 bedroom holiday home is an authentic, Austrian-style chalet with 12 foot knotless cedar-clad vaulted ceilings, pine trim throughout, heated porcelain tiled floors, Darcy Rock faced Wood-burning fireplace, (all logs provided), 2 bathrooms with soaker tubs and two double showers with one near the sauna and and a multi-person outdoor person hot-tub. Maximum 10 can sleep in 10 comfy beds and all can enjoy fabulous views of Sproat and Rainbow Mountains from the south facing deck while watching the sun set. This sunny, treed, hillside location is adjacent Lost Lake Park and the ski and xcountry trails are literally right out back. Large north facing deck to enjoy morning coffee around back – watch out for the bears and racoons and enjoy Southwest facing front deck’s bbq.  It’s a short stroll to the village along the valley trail or to the Wizard Quad on Blackcomb and the Whistler Gondola in 15 minutes or take the 2 minute bus ride. The bus stop is 2 minutes walk, or if a few are going at once a cab is $6.  Bear Trail Inn is perfect for family retreats, weddings, sports groups, mountain biking in summer – the tennis courts are free and are at the end of our block.  Historically our chalet has been enjoyed for winter sports but now many come just to enjoy the village and all of it’s offerings.
